Sections

1. The RAED shall constitute five sections corresponding to the doctoral titles, lines of research or fields of activity of its members.

Section one: Social sciences
Section two: Health sciences
Section three: Human sciences
Section four: Experimental sciences
Section five: Technological sciences

2. The sections shall be responsible for submitting reports to the Governing Board, for acting as juries in the awarding of prizes and for contributing work designed to fulfil the primary purpose of the RAED. Their functions shall be as established in the Rules of Internal Procedure.

3. Each section shall have a chairman and secretary appointed from among its members by the Governing Board at the behest of the third vice-chairman.

4. The third vice-chairman shall coordinate the functioning of the five sections.
