Dr. Emili Gironella Masgrau

Dr. Emili Gironella Masgrau is a Commercial Professor by the Professional School of Commerce of Sabadell, Bachelor and Doctor in Economic and Business Sciences from the University of Barcelona. Certified Account Curator, Auditor Economist and Account Auditor.

He has dedicated his professional activity to the audit and the preparation of expert reports. He is a partner in the auditing company Gironella Velasco Auditores, S.A. He is the auditor who has been active in Spain for more years (more than 46 years).

Former president of the Territorial group in Catalonia of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Spain (College of Chartered Accountants of Catalonia at present). He was a member of the Rules and Procedures Committee of the Register of Economists Auditors. He was coordinator of the Graduate and Master in Audit of Accounts given by the University School of Business Studies of the University of Barcelona.

The Association of Economists of Catalonia awarded him in 2007 the distinction of Economist of the year, professional dispatch version. Professor of the subjects Audit and Analysis of financial statements at the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) for 17 years.

He has written three books and countless articles on accounting, auditing and finance, some of which, due to their novelty, have been followed and taught to generations of account auditors. He has also been an audit professor for many years in countless institutions throughout the Spanish geography, as well as an active lecturer in congresses, seminars, professional associations, technical conferences and chambers of commerce.
