The Ecuadorian thinker Eduardo Naranjo evokes the intellectual and political figure of Rosalía Arteaga, honorary academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED), who briefly held the Presidency of Ecuador in February 1997. Naranjo recounts in the newspaper “LaHora” of Ecuador “Rosa Carmín”, the last poetry book of Arteaga, whom he defines as a “cultured woman, of high intellectual value and almost obsessive convictions for achieving a better education system as a way to the redemption of youth”.
