Joaquim Gironella, full academician and member of the Board of Governors of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED), will participate in the international tribute events that the Romanian Academy dedicates the next 23 and 24 February to his outstanding academician Maya Simionescu under the title “The universe within the cell”. Simionescu is also a corresponding academician of the RAED. The sessions will be held in Bucharest and will be attended by scientists from different European countries and the United States.

Gironella will give two lectures at the Institute of Cell Biology and Pathology of the Romanian Academy: “Mes alcaloïdes préférées” (My favorite alkaloids) and “Situation of cell therapy in the medical practice”.
