The academician of the Royal Academy of Doctors (RAD) Albert Casellas died yesterday at age 92 in Girona, the city where he was born and developed his professional and scientific work. Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona after studying Teaching, Casellas specialized in Neurology and became one of its leading exponents in Spain. It was, in fact, one of the founders and key drivers of the Spanish Society of Neurology. He also chaired the Medical Association of Girona between 1970 and 1976 and between 1990 and 1998 and was the founder of Rotary Club of Girona president. It also was one of the initiators of university studies in his hometown. This Real Corporation joins the family condolences.
