Santiago Castellà, full academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) and specialist in International Public Law, has led the seminar “The Spanish Civil War in the light of International Humanitarian Law”, co-organized by the Catalan Institute of Peace, the Rovira i Virgili University and the Centre for the Study of International Humanitarian Law (CEDIH) of the Red Cross. The seminar was held on December 1 and 2 and was attended, among others, by José Luis Rodriguez-Villasante, director of CEDIH; Carlos Fernández Liesa, Professor of International Public Law at Carlos III University in Madrid, and Esperanza Orihuela, Professor of Public International Law at the University of Murcia.
