Ángel Aguirre Baztán, academician of the Royal Academy of Doctors (RAD), will participate in the International Congress of the European Council for Research on Latin America (CEISAL), to be held in Salamanca next June under the title “Posthegemónicos times : society, culture and politics in Latin America“.
Aguirre has been invited by the organization for his “extensive experience, dedication and commitment to the study and research of Latin America” to be part of one of the five master tables of the congress. In particular, it will focus on social anthropology.
Doctor of Philosophy and Psychology, the academician has taught at the University of Barcelona and as visiting professor at several universities.
