It was, in fact, oneof the founders andkey drivers oftheSpanishSociety of Neurology. He alsochaired theMedical Association ofGironabetween 1970and 1976andbetween 1990and 1998andwas the founder ofRotaryClubofGironapresident.It alsowasone of the initiatorsof university studiesin his hometown.
