The Governing Board of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) will discuss at its meeting on 17 January the creation of a new Economic and Financial Council to provide itself with new resources to carry out its intense activity. According to the proposal to be presented to academicians, the new body would depend on the Governing Board and would consist of legal persons and public or private entities that provide support, advice and guidance to the RAED in matters of econocmic and financial order and patronage that contribute to the development of academic activity.
The new body would meet as many times as required by the Governing Board and at least once a year. Its meetings would be headed by the president of the RAED. The internal rules of procedure may establish other specifics about its operating regime.
