The doctor in Public International Law Santiago Castellà will enter as full academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) next Thursday, June 30, during a solemn session to be held in the auditorium of Fomento del Trabajo Nacional (Via Laietana, 32, main floor, Barcelona). The recipient will read the inaugural speech “¿Hacia un nuevvo Derecho de Gentes?” (Towards a new law of nations?). Will respond on behalf of the RAED, the academician Joan Francesc Pont.
Castellà was dean of the Faculty of Law and Vice Chancellor of the University Rovira i Virgili. He’s recognized for his work in investigating international protection of ethnic, national, linguistic and religious minorities, in addition to the legal protection of the environment.
