The Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) stands in solidarity with the National Academy of Medicine of Venezuela and signs its public complaint for the arrest of Gonzalo Müller, head of the Obstetrics Service of the Hospital José Gregorio Hernández of Caracas and the worker of the centre José Luis Spitia. The detainees had received the donation of medical supplies that were intended for the care of patients in their hospital, affected by serious and chronic shortages of medicines and other essential products. The RAED attends the call of its corresponding academician for Venezuela Francisco Kerdel-Vegas.
