The renowned auditor Frederic Borràs Pàmies will enter as corresponding academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) next Tuesday, July 19, during a solemn session to be held in the auditorium of Fomento del Trabajo Nacional (Via Laietana, 32, principal, Barcelona). The recipient will read the inaugural address “El reto de mejorar la calidad de la auditoría” (The challenge of improving audit quality). The academician Emili Gironella will respond on behalf of the RAED.
Doctor in Economics and Business, Borràs Pàmies has worked for nearly four decades at the firm KPMG, where he became partner in charge of the offices of Barcelona, Girona, Palma and Andorra. He’s currently chairman of the advisory board of Morera Advisors & Auditores and board member of international administration of IECnet. A professional work that combines with an intensive teaching at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Barcelona.
