Jordi Gracia, professor of Spanish Literature at the University of Barcelona, will participate in the academic session that the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) will dedicate to the figure of Miguel de Cervantes at the fourth centenary of his death. Within the cicle Debates in the RAED, the Academy will host the next December 19 the session “IV centenario de la muerte de Miguel de Cervantes” (IV centenary of the death of Miguel de Cervantes).

In the session will participate also the renowned Egyptian intellectual Ismail Seregeldin, director of the Library of Alexandria and expresident of the World Bank, who holds 21 honorary doctorates and a doctorate at Harvard University. He will be accompanied by academicians of the RAED Joan Francesc Pont and Xabier Añoveros, who are experts in the figure and the Cervantine work. Also will participate in the event the honorary academician Rosalía Arteaga, writer and former president of Ecuador.
