Aldo Olcese, who passed away last March at the age of 68, will be the central figure at the 5th National Congress of Civil Society, entitled “Looking to the Future: Spain in the Next Decade” (February 3). This will be the first congress held without his leadership, and a well-deserved tribute will be paid to him

The much-missed Xabier Añoveros, academic and vice president of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RAED), who passed away last year, is once again in the news these days, remembered, due to his family’s donation of his extensive and varied collection of “caganers” for the “Mira qui caga” exhibition, which can be seen these days at La Casa dels Entremesos.
