Portrait of "El final de la contabilidad: cómo informar de lo que realmente interesa a directivos y accionistas", Baruch LevBaruch Lev, corresponding academician for the United States of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED), warned of the loss of credibility of accounting and urged a reformulation of its parameters to offer not only reliable information of the company, but useful for analysts and investors.

A professor at the University of New York and a recognized specialist in intangible assets, Lev presented in the Barcelona Stock Exchange his latest book in Spanish, “El final de la contabilidad: cómo informar de lo que realmente interesa a directivos y accionistas” (The end of accounting: how to report what really matters to managers and investors), edited with the collaboration of the Barcelona School of Management of Pompeu Fabra University and the Catalan Association of Accounting and Management (ACCID).

The event also involved Joan Hortalà, president of Barcelona Stock Exchange; Josep Lluís Negro, president of Barcelona European Financial Center; Josep Maria Sánchez, general director of Financial Policy of the Generalitat of Catalonia, and Oriol Amat, full academician of the RAED and president of ACCID.
