The Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED), will commemorate the 700th anniversary of the death of Ramon Llull with an academic session convened by the Section of Humanities to be held next Thursday, May 26, at 19.00 h at the headquarters of the RAED (Via Laietana, 32, 3rd floor, Barcelona). The event will be presented by academician and president of the section, Josep Gil Ribas, and will feature speeches by Jordi Gayà, who will present “La vida de Ramon Llull” (The life of Ramon Llull); Alexander Fidora, who will present the work “L’ars Lul·liana” (The Llull’s art), and Joan Andreu Alcina, who will speak on “El pensament de Ramon Llull” (Ramon Llull’s thought). The three speakers are renowned scholars of the work of the Majorcan philosopher, theologian and poet.
