Pilar Bayer, emeritus professor at the University of Barcelona (UB) and full academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED), participated in the round table “Dones i Ciència” (Women and Science) held on the occasion of the International Women’s Day by the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of the UB. Through the testimonies of the participants, as well as the numerous attending public, have analyzed from a gender perspective some of the circumstances that affect the professional development of scientific activities and, in particular, mathematics when their protagonists are women.
