Antonio Pulido, president of Cajasol and member of the Board of Directors of CaixaBank, calls for a legislative reform to support SMEs that are holding the Spanish economy to strengthen their development. Only then, argues Pulido, the Spanish society may change its mind and not associate entrepreneurship with risk, but with risk control. The manager provides the basis for his proposal on a comprehensive analysis of such societies, “The entrepreneur and the concept of entrepreneurship”, his inaugural speech as academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914, that he read yesterday in Barcelona in the presence of two hundred people. On behalf of the corporation intervened the academician José Daniel Barquero.
“Talk of a new production model for the twenty-first means respecting individual or collective decisions of entrepreneurship, which will be subject to market itself. We must allow the model of society we are creating and we are giving more than enough signs of maladjustment formulas for action own the twentieth century regulation. And, secondly, the need for an adjustment to detail, picking up the differences in the productive and business fabric itself and all those circumstances that necessitate accommodate the legal system to the peculiarities of our businesses and entrepreneurs”, muses in his speech the new academician.
Pulido also calls on the Administration to encourage the creation of social economy companies for their success in the fight against unemployment. “These companies have a lower rate of separations that the creation, marking a greater success than in cases of capital companies. This should make policy priorities on these businesses to support”.
