Pedro Aznar Alarcón, professor of ESADE and full academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) has led the work of a group of students has won the prestigious Generation Euro Students’ prize awarded by the European Central Bank ( ECB). It’s a competition in which students must defend before a jury ECB the most appropriate in terms of interest rates and monetary policy decision.
The jury appreciated the students’ ability for a comprehensive economic and financial analysis and the evolution of foreseeable risks. It was the only Spanish team, that beat 156 other teams from across Europe. Mario Draghi, ECB president, granted the award on Thursday, April 21.
