The Governing Board of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) will propose to the Extraordinary General Meeting convened for next 17 January the creation of the International Scientific Council, a new advisory body that would group together full academicians, emeritus, corresponding and honorary members to deepen the commitment to the internationalization of the Academy. Among its members would highlight the Nobel Prizes that already hosts and will host in the future the RAED.
According to the proposed statutory reform, the International Scientific Council would mark the external activity of the Royal Academy “according to international trends in the different branches of scientific knowledge, art and techniques”. The new body would meet at least once every two to the call of the president of the Governing Board. Its members will be appointed by the Governing Board itself.
