Jaime Rodrigo de Larrucea, full academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) and president of its Section of Technological Sciences, has been recognized with the prestigious Excellence Award 2017 granted by the Association of Spanish Shipping Companies for its work in the study and development of the nautical sector. The award will be presented on June 22 at the Ritz Hotel in Madrid.

Rodrigo de Larrucea is a lawyer, Doctor of Law and Nautical Engineering, Professor of Maritime Law at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and President of the Maritime Law Section of the Barcelona Lawyers  Association, among other positions.
