Montserrat Casanovas, professor of Economics and Business at the University of Barcelona, and Daniel Turbón, professor of Biology at the same university, have been appointed as new elected full academicians of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED).
Doctor of Economic and Business Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Casanovas leads the Research Group on Economics and Management of Uncertainty of the University of Barcelona and is the creator and director of its Master degree in European Financial Advisor. She also directs the Master in Construction Management.She is also vice-president of the Catalan Association of Accounting and Business Management.
Turbón, for his part, is coordinator of the Teaching Innovation Group of Biology and Culture: Human Diversity and Evolution of the University of Barcelona and was general secretary of the Spanish Society of Physical Anthropology.
