The Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) will hold on February 13 the second of its Concerts with Soul, the musical cycle started last December at the Catalan Music Palace. On this occasion the appointment will be in the Atlantes Room of the Royal Artistic Circle of Barcelona, one of the most emblematic entities of Catalan culture where prestigious plastic artists and musicians such as Enrique Granados have left their mark and with whom the RAED has subscribed a collaboration agreement.
This second concert will be an Ibero-American lyrical music recital with some of the most outstanding pieces of the classical repertoire of composers such as Ernesto Lecuona, Alberto Ginastera, Carlos Gardel or Astor Piazzola, among others. A complete sample of Cuban, Mexican, Argentine, Uruguayan, Brazilian, Peruvian and Ecuadorian music. The interpreters will be the pianist Mara Jaubert, the bass Francisco Feria and the soprano Cristina Calvo. After the recital, and given that the Royal Artistic Circle offers a high-quality gastronomy, the academicians and guests who wish may dine in one of its private rooms.
As the capacity is limited, the tickets for the concert and for the subsequent dinner will be offered on the basis of the order of registration. The recital will be free, but it’s necessary to register in advance. The price of the dinner will be 50 euros per person.
