Dr. Ignacio Buqueras
Ignacio Buqueras, full academician and president of the Humanities Section of the Royal Academy of Doctors of Spain, has entered at the Spanish Royal Academy of the Sea as full academician during a solemn ceremony held at the Auditorium of theSpanish Superior Center of Studies of the National Defense, in Madrid. Buqueras gave the speech of entrance “Los horarios y el mar” (The schedules and the sea). On behalf of the corporation answered the academician Julio Iglesias de Ussel. Closely linked to the maritime sector, the new academician of the Royal Academy of the Sea presides the National Commission for the Rationalization of Spanish Timetables and their Standardization with those of the other countries of the European Union.
