Eric Maskin, Nobel prize in Economics and honorary academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED), received an honorary doctorate from the University of Cambridge during a solemn ceremony held on 23 June in the Senate of the prestigious British university. Doctor of Applied Mathematics from Harvard University, Maskin was an honorary member of Jesus College of Cambridge, where he served as a postdoctoral fellow.
Later he was professor of Social Sciences at Princeton University and currently continues teaching at Harvard.
