The renowned otolaryngologist Pedro Clarós, full academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED), outlined yesterday the main characteristics that define the voice, which He defined as the most personal trait of the individual, unique as fingerprints. Clarós offered the conference “The Odyssey of the voice. The voice and opera from the medical and artistic point of view”. Also participated in the event the radio journalist and specialist in operatic culture Marcel Gorgori.
The Academician of the RAED explained his work and his experiences as a medical consultant to the Gran Teatre del Liceu, besides pointing the main problems that other professionals such as teachers and speakers and remedies most common for hoarseness and other common diseases affecting the voice.
