The University of Barcelona dedicates in its website a wide space to the admission as full academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) of its professor of Surgery and Specialties Medical-surgical Mariano Monzó, doctor in Medicine and Surgery and recognized specialist in oncology. The admission was made in Barcelona on 9 February.
The recipient read the entry address “Història de la malaltia y la investigació oncològica. Retorn als origens“ (History of disease and cancer research. Return to origins). On behalf of the RAED answered the full academician Joaquim Gironella.
