The Departamanet of Health of the Generalitat de Catalunya has appointed Maria Àngels Calvo, full academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) and president of the Section of Health Sciences, member of the Advisory Board of Health public, consisting of experts of recognized standing in their field.

Doctor of Pharmacy and Veterinary, Calvo is a professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, has published more than 250 scientific papers and is part of numerous academic and health institutions.
