Jaume Llopis, member of the Senate of the RAED, collects in an original book the great economic sentences on Twitter
Jaume Llopis, professor of the IESE Business School and member of the Senate of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) proposes in the book “500 tuits para dirigir mejor” (500 tweets for a better management) (Profit editorial) an original and didactic way to improve business management through the simple and direct advice offered by these messages. Many of them are already part of the history of the Economy converted into precise sentences. “Tweets tend to be very concise and accurate, in some way, summarize large bodies of knowledge and experience in a few words. In addition, such a density of truths gives much strength to the subject, as if a painter used a few strokes to create a wonderful painting”, points out in this sense the prologue of the work.
The book is articulated in different sections that divide the content of the tweets by subjects ranging from the economy in its broadest sense, with specific references to the crisis, the post-crisis and current trends, to business management, personnel management, family business, strategy and organization, finance, operations and marketing. Without ignoring aspects such as myths and lies, now transmuted into the so-called fake news, and good practices from this new and casual point of view.
“Jaume Llopis has overcome the temptation to use rhetoric and professorial grandiloquence for the benefit of the reader. A bet in favour of freedom and freshness. And yet his work is unusual and surprisingly useful, since the simple way to present the ideas are very effective -says the renowned consultant Ildefonso García-Serena in the introduction of the book-. Managers tanned can contrast on the fly, while reading, the hundreds of ideas proposed, with equal benefit, whether they agree as if not. And young people for the same reason. Another great advantage”.
