The Spanish minister of Education, Culture and Sport, Íñigo Méndez de Vigo, has received in his ministerial office the president of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED), Alfredo Rocafort, and its vicepresident, Xabier Añoveros, who have presented him the activities carried out and programmed by the Academy, as well as other future academic projects.

At the meeting, the minister expressed his enthusiasm for the intense activity of the RAED and encouraged the academicians to maintain and reinforce it. It has also recognized the role of the institution as an associate academy of the Institute of Spain.
