Pedro Clarós, full academician and vice-president of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED), has been recognized by the Spanish Institution of Humanitarian Merit with its highest distinction, the Great Cross, which will be imposed solemnly at a ceremony which will be held in June 2018 in Barcelona.
Recognized by the Spanish Ministry of the Interior, the Institution of Humanitarian Merit was created in Barcelona in 1999 with the mission of annually awarding social, cultural and benefactor figures who have demonstrated with diligence and concern their concern and care for humanitarian work and human values. It’s presided over by Marino José Pérez Meler.
With a long career and research that has led him to be one of the leading otorhinolaryngologists in Spain and Europe, required by large institutions such as the Liceo of Barcelona, Clarós adds his dedication and dedication to patients with fewer resources through of the programs of the Clarós Foundation. An institution that also promotes projects together with the Clarós Clinics with doctors from developing countries.
