Standing Committees

The Commissions are the organs responsible for the correct institutional development of the Academy. There will be two classes of commissions: permanent and temporary.

There shall be four permanent commissions:

• Internal Government, under the Board of Government and formed by the President, the Vice-president, the General Secretary and the Treasurer.
• Finance commission, formed by the Vice-president, as President, the Treasurer and three Numerary members or Emeritus.
• Publications, constituted by the Presidents of the Sections, presided by the Editor.
• Admissions, made up by five Numerary members or Emeritus, among which there shall be the General Secretary who shall exercise as the President. He or she shall present to the Board of Government their opinions on the candidates for the Numerary members and Honorary members.

The commissions appointed with a certain end shall be governed by the same norms as the Permanent Commissions, and shall automatically cease to exist when they have fulfilled their mission.
