The Medical-Pharmaceutical Institute of Catalonia has awarded its Gold Medal, its highest distinction, to Josep Maria Gil-Vernet, honorary academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) pioneer in numerous urological techniques. Constituted in Barcelona 83 years ago, the Medical-Pharmaceutical Institute is presided by Anna Maria Carmona, also academician of the RAED.
The award ceremony will be held on December 22, at 19.30 h, in the Aula Magna de la Facultad de Farmacia y Ciencias de la Alimentación (Av. Joan XXIII, 27-31 of Barcelona).
