The rector of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, Josep Anton Planell; the Universitat Oberta La Salle, Lluís Vicent Safont; the Ateneu Universitari Sant Pacià, Armand Puig, and the honorary rector of the Universitat Abat Oliva CEU Juan Francisco Corona,chair the next Wednesday, June 8, reception as honorary academiacians at the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) of Erik Maskin, Nobel prize in Economics in 2007; Ernesto Kahan, Nobel Peace Prize in 1995; Rosalía Arteaga, former president of Ecuador, and Leslie Griffith. They will accompany the presidential table the president of Fomento del Trabajo Nacional, Joaquim Gay Montellà and RAED president, Alfredo Rocafort.
In the ceremony was also confirmed their presence 80 academicians of the RAED, while the subsequent dinner at the Círculo Ecuestre of Barcelona attended by more than 200 people. The solemn academic ceremony will be held at 19:00 at the headquarters of Fomento del Trabajo Nacional (via Laietana, 32, main floor, Barcelona).
