In increasingly changing, complex and dynamic environments, such as those we currently face, the task of the manager has been changing, and we cannot develop business strategies for the 21st century with organizations and managers from the 20th century.
In the last two decades, there have been highly relevant changes in the global market that have pushed companies to undertake major transformations in their management systems. However, little is known about the impact they have had on the day-to-day life of the general management of organizations, and how it adapts its roles, functions and priorities to the new scenarios.
“Inteligencia directiva. Manual para liderar equipos” (Managerial intelligence. Manual for leading teams) responds to the need to rethink traditionally accepted truths about what it means to lead companies and how to approach this complex task when environments are characterized by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity.
Its author, Dr. Jaume Llopis, proposes a type of collaborative leadership, a culture based on trust and responsibility, with teams equipped with the technological resources necessary to make informed decisions in a decentralized manner.
