Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Barcelona, 1965. Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology (1970) and Doctor in Medicine and Surgery, with thesis graded excellent cum laude (1975). Career teaching positions: Assistant Professor (1970-1974), Professor in Charge of Course (1974-1975), Adjunct University Professor (1975-1985) and Full Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology (1985-2011).

Teaching Coordinator of the Clinical Institute of Gynecology, Obstetrics and Perinatology and Resident Doctors Tutor (1990-1996). Performance as guest professor: Ibero-American Gynecology Course, Montevideo; Master Senology (2000-2007) and Master Sexual Health (2019-2022). Training in gynecologic oncology: University of Santo Tomas de Manila, Philippines (1967-1976) and Texas Cancer Institute M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas (1979-1989, monthly periods per year).

Healthcare work: Consultant in the Gynecological Oncology Area, Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and Institut Mèdic Oncología Radiotèrapia (IMOR), Barcelona. Participation in National and Foreign Congresses and Symposiums: 349. Lines of research and development: Pathophysiology of the cervix, pathophysiology of the endometrium, pathology of the vulva, trophoblastic disease, intra-arterial chemotherapy infusion, tumor markers, conservative surgery and irradiation in breast cancer.
