The Governing Board of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) has developed an Ethical Code to ensure that the actions and behavior of its members and partners respect the fundamental values of democracy and are guided by honesty, integrity and transparency.
Attached to the new Internal Regulations, the new Ethical Code provides for the creation of a permanent commission to ensure proper compliance and a series of articles detailing their rules, which affect the defense of democracy and Human Rights, the polite behavior, the respect to Internal Rules and the legal framework, the independence of the RAED, the transparency in tendering procedures and contracts and a timely information before opening any criminal proceedings. The Ethical Code must be ratified by the General Meeting.
