Francisco López Muñoz, full academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) has been chosen adviser numerary of the Institute of La Mancha Studies in the last extraordinary general assembly of the institution, celebrated last Saturday 1 of July.
With headquarters in Ciudad Real, the Institute of La Mancha Studies was constituted in 1947 and was integrated in 1949 in the Spanish Superior Council of Scientific Investigations, through the Spanish Confederation of Centers of Local Studies. Its purpose is the promotion of research and study of scientific and cultural subjects of any order in Castilla-La Mancha and especially the province of Ciudad Real, as well as its dissemination through publications, conferences and all kinds of activities aimed at to this end.
López Muñoz is professor of Pharmacology and director of the International School of Doctorate at the Camilo José Cela University in Madrid.
