Javier López-Galiacho is Originally from Albacete by birth and by vocation.
Graduate in Law at CEU San Pablo attached to the UCM. He successfully passed the so-called graduation examination of his bachelor’s degree. He later earned a doctorate in Law cum laude from the Complutense University of Madrid, under the direction of his teachers Professor Manuel Albaladejo and José Pérez de Vargas.
Since 2002 he has been a professor of Civil Law at the Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid.
He has been director of the Colegio Mayor San Pablo in Madrid and general secretary and head of the Law division of the Cisneros Foundation of the UCM, and was director of the official Master’s degree in access to the legal profession of the Faculty of Law of the CEU San Pablo University , a university of which he was also a patron.
He has a Diploma in Sustainability from the Wharton School of Pennsylvania and in business strategy from the Autonomous University of Mexico.
He is director of Compliance and Sustainability of the FCC Group (Construction and Contract Promotion), president of its corporate Compliance Committee and member of the ESG commission of the board of directors of FCC Envirommental.
He has a long commitment to culture, and in addition to being a researcher, writer and columnist in various media, he is president and founder (1994) of the National Association of Friends of the Historical Theaters of Spain (AMIThE).
He is the author of several books and a long list of research works in the field of civil law, good corporate and foundation governance, and sustainability and business ethics.
