Author of numerous articles and publications in specialized press and three books on the repercussions that emotions and suffering have on the disease.

His professional life has revolved around three fields;

1.- Medical Assistance. He currently carries out with the direction of the Institute of Rheumatology and Medical Anthropology of Barcelona.

2.- Teaching. He is a regular guest lecturer at Congresses and Universities both nationally and internationally. He has organized, collaborated and directed different courses of as many scientific societies, both Spanish and European.

3.- Research. His line of research has focused on the search for biochemical markers of emotions and in particular of human suffering, as well as their eventual somatic repercussion. His studies have been published both in international congresses and in impact journals, as well as in the edition of three books on the subject of pain, suffering and their psychophysiology.
