- Founder (1988) of the first Menopause Unit in a Catalan public hospital and the second in Spain.
- Pioneer in surgical techniques for the reconstruction of Müllerian anomalies, establishing the centre as a national reference.
- Promoter of minimally invasive surgery in gynaecology.
- Director of the Master’s Degree in Clinical Sexology since 2016.
- Creator of a Postgraduate Programme in Sexology and Sexual Education for non-medical professionals (2016).
- Visiting Professor and appointed Free Professor at the University of Buenos Aires.
