About the work
The book is a detailed description of the commendable activity carried out by regional houses and Spanish entities spread throughout the world, and which bring the reality of Spanish culture and heritage closer to the reality in a more direct and often more concrete way than official institutions.
Dr. Ignacio Buqueras also highlights the excellent function of twinning between autonomous communities developed by regional houses and laments the lack of public support for this movement, which he considers so representative of civil society.
Dr. Buqueras is also the author of other reference books such as: “Catalonia in Madrid”, “Josep Pla, el ‘seny’ ironico”, “Rediscover America. Discover Spain”, “Cambó”, “Objective 92: Spain in the World”, “More Society, less and better State”, or the successful books “Time to Time”, edited by Planeta, and “Let’s stop wasting time” , where he advocates the rationalization of schedules that led him to found and chair the Association for the Rationalization of Spanish Schedules.
