Content and objectives of the session
The Royal European Academy of Doctors is proud to be able to present as a speaker an exceptional priest for what he does, although he is very humble in his work.
This is Father Ignacio Doñoro de los Ríos, who, in the region of San Martín, in the Peruvian Amazon, has a refuge, hope and an opportunity for many children and adolescents who find themselves in extreme situations. Children saved from organ trafficking, slave labour or prostitution.
Father Doñoro de los Ríos, who was a chaplain of the Civil Guard, left his comfortable life in Spain to go to the Peruvian jungle to save children whose lives were in danger.
He raised the Hogar Nazaret that is, above all, full of love. A love that, as he himself recounts, “does not stop before anything and nobody but God” and that today welcomes more than 400 children and adolescents in five houses.
Father Doñoro carries important baggage behind him, a life story dedicated to others, in really extreme situations, and he will talk about that in this presentation.
