Carlo Maria Gallucci, professor and vice-chancellor of International Relations and Students of the Ramon Llull University, professor at the ESADE Business School and full academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED), reflected on the importance of training abroad in an interview granted to Channel 90 of television in Calabria (Italy), where he is from. In this sense, he highlighted the obligation that his ESADE students have to carry out their internships in a foreign country.
“I would recommend all parents send their children to study abroad, to face another culture”, the academician said. Enthusiasm is necessary, because without enthusiasm is complicated, intellectual curiosity and effort. The reward is great”. Gallucci recalled his own experience, when he did not hesitate to go to ESADE to study Business Administration and Management, studies that in his youth barely existed in Italy.
Currently, Gallucci is one of the most recognized connoisseurs of marketing understood as both a business philosophy and an action-oriented process that sets the pace of the economy and decisively influences its development. “Marketing is advertising, promotion and sales, but it is also a set of analysis tools, sales forecasting methods, simulation models and market research studies used to develop a prospective and more scientific approach to the analysis of the needs of the demand. But above all, is the promoter and architect of the consumer society”, said the academician during his admission to RAED, in February of last year.
