Itinerary of the session
The oceanic islands of the South Pacific, so remote and isolated, have always made us dream; However, today they are at a critical moment. Man-made stressors, such as overfishing, climate change, garbage or mass tourism, are having a direct impact on them.The purpose of the talk on February 14th is to convey the importance of these fragile and beautiful ecosystems. It will also be presented at the Centre for Ecology and Sustainable Management of Ocean Islands (ESMOI) and the multiple initiatives that are being carried out to protect the oceanic islands of the Pacific.
