The Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED) has opened the call for the provision of eight vacancies of full academician, following the mandate of the Governing Board on November 27, 2017. Applicants must be doctors of recognized prestige of any member state of the European Union “willing to contribute selflessly to the progress of humanity, the advancement of the thought of reason and the quality of science, philosophy, technique or art”, as shown expressly in the bases of the call.
Candidates must have the endorsement of five RAED academicians, who will be responsible for submitting applications within 30 calendar days of the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat de Catalunya. To become elected, any candidate must obtain a simple majority of the votes cast in the General Board.
