Mr. Ildefonso García Serena

ILDEFONSO GARCÍA SERENA is a specialist in brand strategies, creativity and product innovation. Dean emeritus of the College of Marketing and Communication of Catalonia, he was also an advisor to the OJD and has directed innovation committees in various corporations such as CaixaBank and the Chamber of Commerce. Guest professor, he has written more than 200 articles, essays, books on manners and novels. He is Ldo. in Information Sciences, Master in European Communities and Official Advertising Technician.

As a manager, he was awarded Marketing Leader at the age of 29. Dedicated to Creativity, he founded the Gray Iberia communication group from a small agency that, based on its marketing experience, developed new services and would become the third group in the country, with more than 150 clients, receiving the Award European for effectiveness (EFI) in 2006. In 2022 he received the Diploma from the Spanish Ateneo of Mexico for his contribution to the republican memory of the Exile in his novel El Hijo del Doctor. He is a member of the Social Council of the International University of Catalonia (UIC) since its foundation. In 2023 he was invested as an Honorary Academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors.
