TEACHING AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY
- Senior Consultant at the Haematology Department of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, responsible for the clinical and translational programme on chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, an area in which she has published more than 80 articles in scientific journals and contributed as author to several books.
- Member of the Board of Directors of the European Hematology Association, the International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and the European Research Initiative for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia.
- Secretary and co-founder of the Spanish Haematogeriatrics Group of the Sociedad Española de Hematología y Hemoterapia (SEHH).
- She has been invited as a speaker at the most relevant national and international meetings in the specialty: European Bone Marrow Transplantation, International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, European Hematology Association, Sociedad Española de Hematología y Hemoterapia and the American Society of Hematology.
- She has been a member of the Scientific Committee of the European Hematology Association and directs European training courses for haematologists in clinical research.
