Law of Robotics and Drones

The text examines the legal challenges of robotics and drones, proposing to strengthen the legal framework for human liability rather than granting legal personality to machines. Directive (EU) 2024/2853 modernizes the law on defective products, making it easier for victims to prove defects and expanding compensation coverage.

In the drone sector, the main difficulty lies in the ambiguity of liability for software failures and in the insufficiency of mandatory insurance to cover modern risks such as privacy damage.

Finally, the text addresses the impact of robotization on work, highlighting continuous professional training and legislative adaptation as key measures to ensure a fair social transition.
