- Professor at the Universidad de Barcelona since 1982.
- University Professor at the School of Law (1993) and Full Professor (2003) in Financial and Tax Law.
- Academic Advisor to Pont Mestres, Abogados y Economistas (since 1998) and President of the firm (since 2008).
- Secretary (1989–1992) and Director (in two periods, 1992–1998 and 2004–2005) of the University School of Business Studies of the Universidad de Barcelona.
- Delegate of the Rector for Relations with Society (2001–2005) within the Rector’s Office of the Universidad de Barcelona.
